The Charlton Police Department utilizes five Smith & Wesson bicycles for specialized patrol. At times when a regular cruiser or foot patrol is ineffective, bike officers are often the answer. Whether negotiating crowds at Old Home Day, or riding in the Memorial Parade, you'll find the Charlton Police fit and ready for action. Since its inception in 1999, Officers assigned to this specialized unit are: Officer Mason, Officer McGrath, Officer Bedard, Officer Dowd, Officer Smith, Officer Johnson, and Officer Martocci.
